Bar Le Forum, Paris

Founded in 1918, Bar Le Forum is considered to be the oldest American bar in Paris. Favorite hideout of the employees of the American Embassy, they have an incredible menu of 65 mouth-watering cocktails and an impressive selection of whiskeys. Also famous for having won numerous international cocktail competitions and for creating some unique mixes, the bar is the perfect place to enjoy a cool drink in a chic, elegant atmosphere.

The know-how and professionalism of the staff is astouding; they can shake up any drink imaginable. If you want to learn a few tricks of the trade, attend one of Le Forum’s Bar School workshops, held on Saturdays at 1pm and 3pm. Alternatively, attend one of the frequent whiskey-tasting events.

The atmopshere is laid-back and relaxed, with soft jazz music in the background. Recline in sumptuous comfort in the incredible soft leather seats and soak up the ambience. If possible, request a table at the end of the bar, next to the two 50 year old jukeboxes.
