Designers are combining their creative vision with interior design, echoing the ideology of their brands with stylistic and architectural excellence. For decades, European designers have dominated the fashion scene, developing avant-garde looks on a consistent basis. Created in 1983, Moschino’s eccentric yet innovative designs have catered for the colour-loving individual including the stage personas of both Madonna and Kylie Minogue. Due to its enormous success, 2010 saw the creation of the brand’s most interesting project to date: the Maison Moschino Hotel on Milan’s fashionable Viale Monte Grappa. The neoclassical building was once Milan’s first railway station, thus the edifice boasts large indoor spaces and unusual architectural features.
